Hotel Booking & Payment Terms

Please read the following hotel booking and payment terms before confirming your booking.

1. Hotel Policies Apply

All bookings are governed by the individual hotel’s cancellation, amendment, and no-show policies. These were mentioned on your itinerary before you confirmed your booking.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If a room booking cancellation is requested before the hotel’s cancellation deadline, Mena Knows will process the refund within five (5) working days to the original payment card or bank account. Please note that the mandatory 5% third-party booking fee applied to all hotel rate quotes is strictly non-refundable.

  • If a booking is cancelled after the hotel’s cancellation deadline, no refund or credit can be issued by Mena Knows. Hotels may review exceptional refund requests only when submitted directly by the cardholder or the traveller’s insurance provider.

3. No-Show Penalties

We require your estimated arrival time to notify the hotel and avoid no show cancellations. If you fail to check in or notify Mena Knows of late arrival times, the hotel’s no-show fee will apply (As stated on your itinerary prior to room booking confirmation).

4. Booking Amendments

All change requests (date changes, guest additions, room upgrades, extra rooms, etc.) after payment are subject to:

  • Hotel availability

  • Rate changes

  • Property-specific policies

  • Original quoted rates cannot be guaranteed once amendments are requested.

  • Requests must be submitted no later than 7 working days before check-in. 

  • Requests beyond this timeframe may not be accepted.

  • Mena Knows may apply additional coordination/service charges depending on the nature of the request
